Bright Wings Broken
Published in Paperback by Commonwealth Pubns Inc (January, 1996)
Authors: Liz Jones and Elizabeth Jones
Average review score:

A compelling, important novel
It's rare to find a novel these days that takes a strong moral stand without moralizing. Liz Jones tells the story of Emma Hunter, a high school English teacher, who is struggling to help save her gifted, sensitive student Sage, caught between her troubled family and a love affair with the occult. How far can and should a teacher go to rescue her student? I recommend this book especially for educators and people who work with at-risk youth.

The Buffalo Runners
Published in Paperback by St Martins Mass Market Paper (March, 1998)
Author: Robert F. Jones
Average review score:

Well worth reading
This is an unflinching look at the reality of the American expansion west. The novel is historically accurate and refuses to turn away from the havoc and destruction caused as more and more American and European settlers came west in search of wealth and adventure. Underlying the suspense and well-drawn characters, there is an elegaic sense of loss especially as it relates to the extinction of the buffalo and the Native American way of life. Not only that, but the book features a strong well-developed female lead character. Shouldn't be missed.

Bugs Bunny: Fifty Years and Only One Grey Hare
Published in Paperback by Henry Holt & Company, Inc. (October, 1991)
Authors: Joe Adamson, Friz Freleng, and Chuck Jones
Average review score:

The classic comedy of Bugs Bunny
This book captures the history behind Bugs Bunny and all of the other Warner Bros. characters. It provides interesting information on how and why these horrorshow cartoons were made. A few in-depth sections may bore the average reader, but for the most part, the book is filled with intersting tales of car wax.

Published in Ring-bound by Creative Woodcraft Plans, Ltd. (08 January, 1998)
Author: Benjamin Jones
Average review score:

Very Thorough
I am starting a woodworking business and found Mr. Jones book very helpful. It is very easy to read and touches on all aspects of setting up a potentially profitable business by telling you how to price items, market them, and where to find supplies. I especially liked the list of all of the Craft and Art fairs in the U.S. listed by months. His Secrets to Success are very important basics for any business venture and his Pep talk was positive and inspiring. There are easy to copy pages for setting up your accounts, inventory, and records. It gave me some great ideas on promoting my projects. It is a very positive book and I highly recommend it.

Author: J. Hamilton Jones
Average review score:

Mr. Jones' book has made me A LOT of $$$!
I read "Business Letters That Get Results" and it TOTALLY revolutionized my writing style and effectiveness. Now, letter writing is a joy! Mr. Jones' easy to read book challenged me to rethink my old ways of letter writing, and his practical "How To's" made it easy for me to say exactly what I needed to say. The bottom line? His approach has helped me distance myself from the competition...(I just hope none of THEM read this!)
